New Works

After so much work done in the studio, having finally the time to paint. Time, the precious ordeal.

Picked two rough - they are actually rough and raw, newsprint pads from the ten i drew on the #RV5404. Painting on some of them has the gratifying feeling of the coloring books. The real meditation!

Working with small breaks intervals a new series of works appeared and I enjoyed painting for at least two days in a row. Is this too private? I don't think i'm the only one. With so many layers upon Self, flowing for two days was a bliss.

A recap of the weekend

Four years since the RV5404 sitting in another trailer. Selecting to show at the open studios I am seeing the amount of work done there. The RV was not only a reconnection to work, it was mostly a reconnection with myself. The new studio has a structure very similar to RV and almost the same dimensions. And maybe is this similarity what it anchors me at work and on myself.
The space keeps itSelf and me within.

Motivation is on, work in on it own wheels, moving with it. New works are appearing, may be a new direction. Don't know.

Thank you at all the people that stopped by, for their talks and their sharings. That also motivates me to show more often. Date to be confirm.

A lot of sketchbook studies and new paintings in development, i went back to the newsprint works done in the RV. Feel the pull to paint some of them. They are carrying me to an unknown direction.

Studio Opening

Finally, I had the opportunity to see the paintings done in the RV hanging together, and not remotely all. A selection of works from different periods, from the black and white series of 2000-10 to the color ones of 2011-13, and from the two years immersed in the RV_5404 to the glass sculptures from 20012 until now.

An intense immersion selecting works and reorganizing them, flowing without history behind, simply going where they lead me, now.
